Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. This platform uses very few, and none for advertising or tracking.
1. Which cookies we use
- “payload-token”: a technical session cookie. It remembers that you have signed in so you do not have to type your password on every page. It is first-party, only readable by the server (HttpOnly), only sent over an encrypted connection and expires after 14 days or when you sign out. It is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, so under Art. 22.2 of the LSSI it does not require your consent.
- In the administration panel (authorised staff only) technical language and visual theme preferences may also be stored, equally necessary for it to work.
2. Which cookies we do NOT use
We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies. The platform’s usage statistics are our own, use no cookies and do not store your IP address (see the Privacy policy).
3. Third-party content
Some lessons show videos hosted on Vimeo or YouTube. When you play them, those services may receive data from your browser. We load the Vimeo player with the “do not track” option on and the YouTube one in its enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), so they do not install tracking cookies. If how these services work changes, we will tell you and, if necessary, ask for your consent before loading them. You can read their policies at vimeo.com and youtube.com.
4. How to delete or block cookies
You can set your browser to block or delete them (in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge it is under Settings → Privacy). If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in.
5. Changes and contact
If we add cookies that need your consent, we will first show a notice so you can accept or reject them just as easily. Questions: enric@lepton.net.
